I will be 86 yrs old this year and have not been playing golf for over 5 yrs. I have a desire to at least hit shag balls and if successful move on to perhaps find partners in my age bracket. Tom strikes me as being someone who could help as for all my golfing career spanning 60 yrs I have struggled with casting coming from outside in. I have not been successful so far in get the club in a swing from inside out. Many remedies have I tried and have taken numerous golf lessons over the years. At my prime a handicap of 14 was my best and that was more than 25 yrs ago. My thought process at this point is attempting to swing the club with my body as my tendency is to arm swing. Forgive me for such a long explanation of my situation. Here in Indiana it is still too cold for me to get outdoors. Thanks for peeking my interest in a game I love dearly!

This makes so much sense. I was taught with the idea look at the back of the ball. Looking beyond puts a new perspective on ball striking! Thanks so much Tom

What if I play my low irons with the ball back in my stance? I have tried everywhere can’t seem to be consistent with 4 or 5 iron. I always hit them off the toe
