Welcome to Day 2 of “7 Days to Escape the Bunker” series. If you are struggling with your bunker shots than these 7 tips will help you get up and down and save a bunch of strokes next time you play.
The 2nd lesson is all about your spinal tilt.
When you are taking a full swing, you want a spinal tilt that is slightly away from your target. But in the bunker, this same tilt can lead to the dreaded skulled shot that flies over the green.
So try keeping your spine angle vertical… or even slightly towards the target, to make sure your club moves down and through the ball.
If you follow this one piece of advice it will go a long way towards getting control of your bunker shots.
